exploring oxford through pinhole

The results are mixed but I am pleased with a few shots. I stopped for quite a while in Headington Hill Park along my drift, but I really want to go and retake a few images of the bench and footpath. Perhaps in the evening it would work with 400 film and a shorter exposure time.

some street exploration music

Going for a stroll at night? or fancy a mid afternoon cycle around your neighbourhood? I’m a big fan of Chihei Hatakeyama and this piece will make you feel like you are swimming along the pavement. A stunningly beautiful composition:

one of my favourites

I love Bibio. Especially this track from his first album Fi. So beautiful yet so simple. When I listen it instantly takes me back to walking home from the library with the sun setting across a clear blue sky, with gold plane trails ripping across the horizon. Splendid stuff.

whoops!

I’ve recently acquired a 35.mm back for my diana camera so I no longer have to use more expensive medium format film. Only trouble is, i’m not doing something right, because my last film developed was a disaster! Only a few shots came out properly. Could be something to do with the frame settings and how I was winding on the film perhaps. Oh well… that was an expensive mistake!

Happy New Year!

It’s 2011! Any new years resolutions?

This year, I will endeavour to take more pinhole images. I went crazy for my fisheye last year and i think i will focus more of the home-made cameras and using my yashica camera more frequently.

I also want to have lots of fun taking pictures with my lovely girlfriend. She recently bought a holga and has been snapping away! Below is one of her recent shots. Nice one Vera!

why not check out other people’s resolutions via the lomography site:
